The Coolangatta Gold marathon is one of the most gruelling events in Australia and it is now run annually on the beaches of the Gold Coast.
Coolangatta Arts & Crafts Market
Fabulous Gold Coast gifts, souvenirs, art, crafts at the Coolangatta Arts & Crafts Market. Come along to the Gold Coast’s most famous art and craft markets. Held on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Opposite the Showcase Shopping Centre, in Coolangatta.
Wintersun Festival
In June every year – Coolangatta hosts the Wintersun Festival. A two-week 1950s and 1960s nostalgia festival with free entertainment and attractions, including hot rods, restored cars and revival bands playing music of that era. An event not to be missed in Coolangatta.
D’Alliance Festival
D’Alliance festival is a celebration of the art. The festival includes theatre, performance, comedy, music and visual arts. Currumbin Creek (near Coolangatta will become a magical place with magicians, street performers, story tellers, gate keepers and maestros.
Anaconda Adventure Race Gold Coast
The Anaconda Adventure Race at Currumbin and Coolangatta the Gold Coast will take competitors on an off-road adventure. The race goes through the Gold Coast hinterland wilderness and rural retreats. The race is held in September.
